This Privacy Policy explains what data BlogPal AI ("BlogPal", "we", "us"), provided by Epic Twelve Studios LLC, collects and how we use it. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.

Who is responsible for your data

Epic Twelve Studios LLC, a limited liability company based in Los Angeles, California, United States, operates BlogPal AI and is the controller of your personal data. We operate the service from the United States. You can reach us at hello@blogpal.ai for any privacy question or request.

What we collect

• Account and license data: your email address, your license key, and the website address where the plugin is active.
• Business profile you provide: the business details, services, target audience, and competitor websites you enter so BPA can create relevant content.
• Usage data: records of articles generated, competitor analyses run, and similar activity used to enforce plan limits and operate the service.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details.

How we use your data

• To generate and publish content to your website and operate the features of your plan.
• To enforce plan limits and maintain your license.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To send the email reports you choose to receive (you can turn these off any time).
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

Service providers we share data with

We use trusted third parties to deliver BlogPal, and share only what is needed:

• AI providers (such as Anthropic and fal.ai) to generate article text and images from the inputs you provide.
• Stripe to process payments and subscriptions.
• Email delivery providers to send the reports you opt into.
• Hosting infrastructure that runs our backend and database.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Where your data is stored

Account, license, and usage data are stored on our backend servers and database. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect it. The API keys for the AI services live only on our servers and are never placed on your website.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@blogpal.ai and we will respond within the time required by law.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request that we delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you stop using BlogPal, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations.

Cookies

The BlogPal website uses only the cookies needed for it to function. The Stripe checkout may set its own cookies when you make a purchase, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
