Connecting Google Search Console is optional. If you choose to connect your Google account, BlogPal accesses your Google Search Console data through Google's APIs, using a read-only scope (webmasters.readonly). We read your site's search performance data, including clicks, impressions, average position, and the search queries your site appears for, for one purpose only: to show your real search traffic and rankings inside your BlogPal dashboard.
BlogPal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide this feature to you. You can disconnect your Google account at any time, which immediately revokes BlogPal's access.
Account, license, and usage data are stored on our backend servers and database. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect it. The API keys for the AI services live only on our servers and are never placed on your website.
If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@blogpal.ai and we will respond within the time required by law.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request that we delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you stop using BlogPal, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations.
The BlogPal website uses only the cookies needed for it to function. The Stripe checkout may set its own cookies when you make a purchase, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
